In 2021 CTRL ROOM was looking for a new identity. Something more modern and in-line with the evolving technologies of DJing and consuming music. The new branding uses a customized typeface and plays off the display on the CDJ-3000.

The updated identity system allowed for more consistent presence across digital channels as well as more traditional print mediums - like flyers, vinyl record labels and street posters. The brand and identity continues to evolve every day.
Our innovative and flexible identity system empowered CTRL ROOM to unify its brand across platforms, adapt to any situation, and stand out in a crowded market—boosting recognition, audience engagement, and growth. The original design language invited curiosity and connection, helping CTRL ROOM reach new audiences without compromising its underground edge.

The CTRL ROOM project continues to evolve. The visual identity system has been passed on to numerous different collaborators, musicians, performers and promoters throughout the Toronto area and across Canada.
